Aloe is good: If it actually has aloe in it can soothe your pain.

Mild sunburn: Products with aloe are generally safe and can provide some mild relief from a mild sunburn. Severe sunburns however, can predispose a person to bacterial skin infections which are important to prevent, and often an antibiotic cream may be required. Best wishes.

Use Aloe directly: From the plant. Most lotions have too low an aloe % to really aid in skin healing.
