It can happen: A sexually active teenage girl wonders why she has pain during and after sex, and in the abdominal region. Intermittent pain of this sort can be referred pain from an hypermobile symphysis pubis joint, which can be related to joint hypermobility syndrome (see brighton criteria) and this is provable. Other issues might be ovarian cysts and even vaginitis. A gynecology evaluation is in order.
