Probably not: Although it might help the symptoms of endometriosis because of its anti-inflammatory properties, it's not much of a mainstay of treatment and has a lot of side effects you wouldn't want either.

No: Female asks if corticosteroids can ameliorate endometriosis. They do not, and hormones are generally ineffective. Cause of endometriosis is unknown and mechanism of pain generation is speculative. Imo endometriosis has an iatrogenic component related to serial invasive procedures commonly used to treat this disorder, causing increasing densities of adhesions, which lead to ibs-d and ibs-c.
