Breakthrough: This sounds like breakthrough bleeding, and i'm sorry you're going through this. Breakthrough bleeding can be common and this brown discharge is just old blood. Nothing to worry about, nothing with your body is necessarily wrong. If bothers you, can consider taking birth control pills to help regulate cycle. But otherwise, this is likely not to occur regularly. If it does, see a gynecolgoist.
