No: Neither drug causes a physical dependency. There is really, in my opinion, no such thing as an "addictive" drug. Drugs can have characteristics that can lead to physical dependency, but addiction is a biopsychosocial phenomenon that requires the individual to participate. The vicodin you list as a medication contains hydrocodone, which does have physical dependency as one of its properties.
