Two years ago i had clogged ducts along with the breast being a full cup larger. was not pregnant nor breast feeding. its happening again. what is it?

Duct ectasia: Duct ectasia of the breast or (mammary duct ectasia) is a condition in which the lactiferous duct becomes blocked or clogged. Mammary duct ectasia can mimic breast cancer. It is a disorder of peri- or post-menopausal age. It can cause pain and enlargement of the breast however it is usually sell limited and not an indication for surgery. It is not considered precancerous or cancerous. It is extremely important that you follow up with your regular physician for a clinical breast examination, ultrasound, and mammogram if indicated.
