STDs: The main test for stds is a culture of the fluid from the tip of the penis or vagina for chlamydia and gonorrhea. Other sexy transmitted diseases include hepatitis and HIV which are performed by separate the blood tests. For genital herpes it is more of a clinical diagnosis with the sickles or clear blisters that form and then a culture can be taken of that flew to confirm the diagnosis.

STD testing...: ...Generally involves blood and urine testing and may also require a vaginal exam as well. If you have concerns i would definitely see a doctor and get examined as soon as possible. Good luck!
