Yes: Yes you can get it again as an adult. If you are over 60 get the shingles vaccine. That will help prevent it.

Yes: The zoster virus hibernates in nerve nodes after the initial chickenpox infection. Antibodies you develop to the virus are thought to keep it in check as long as they circulate at a high enough levels. If your immunity (antibody level) wanes, the virus can travel to the skin as zoster.That emergence will trigger more antibody formation, but they may decline over time so it could happen again.
