Hello, i recently just found out that i am pregnant. problem is, i also took the plan b pill . how did this happen?

Plan B not perfect: When taking Plan B for emergency contraception, please understand that Plan B (and other other emergency contraception) does not guarantee the prevention of pregnancy. When taken properly, it only decreases the chances that a pregnancy will occur. In other words, pregnancy is still possible but less likely. Good luck.

Plan B is not 100%: effective. Plan B One-Step is up to 89 % effective when taken within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex. It can reduce chance of pregnancy by up to 95% if used within 24 hours.
