My doctor changed my nexium (esomeprazole) 40mg dose to twice a day. is this safe? i just feel like that's a bit much.

?diagnosis: Depending on the severity of your symptoms and your diagnosis, the rx Nexium (esomeprazole) may be taken twice daily. Best to discuss with your rx dr. So s/he knows your concerns and can discuss it with you. Best wishes.

Nexium: Under supervision, that is a totally acceptable dosage of Nexium. We always strive for the lowest possible dosage that achieves the goals, so your doctor might cut it back again after your symptoms are under control. Do not worry about taking it at this dosage. Good luck
