Hormones: It sounds like it's probably hormones. Although if you're having bumps on your nipples that weren't there before, you might want to see you doctor for an exam just to make sure that what you're seeing is anatomically normal. There are normal glands on the areola that rise up , so that's probably what you're seeing. But without an experts vision it's impossible to diagnose on the internet.
