A member asked:

Eventually my period used to come every months like normal. after 32, my period came after 44 days. is it something wrong to me? changing age 32ornot?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: Periods are regulated by estrogen and progesterone, the 2 hormones released from the ovary. If you are still having a period, then you are likely no where near menopause. Sometimes there are hormonal changes as we age, possible that's what you're experiencing. If you're worried, keep a menstrual calendar and see gynecologist to discuss. Weight gain/loss can cause changes as well.
