A member asked:

I have been using cosopt for glaucoma in one eye for 1 month. so far no side effects. how likely is it for cosopt to cause hair loss?

Unlikely: I do not think I have seen any cases of this. Cosopt is s good drug and it is generic. Sounds like it is working, so stay with it. I'm surprised someone did laser first for early disease.

Unlikely: I've never heard of that side effect occurring with cosopt, and it's not listed int the literature either. Be well.

Not : A rarely reported side effect, but listed. Likely more of a concern with oral administration of bĂȘte blockers and carbonic anhydride inhibitors. If you are experiencing hair loss or thinning, discuss with your eye md.
