Referred Pain: If your md or an oral surgeon said no fracture or cbct, then that is good. Clearing your throat can affect the posterior part of the hard palate, and the bones in this area fit together intimately in the front of your face . You may have bruised the cheekbone which is "connected" to the hard palate as well as the bone around your eyeball called the orbit. The pain you feel makes sense.

Facial trauma: See an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and follow his/her recommendations. Imaging is required to diagnose a fracture. Without imaging it's just a guess.
