A member asked:

Is there a good time of day to take sodium and potassium? i know that cortisol tapers off throughout the day. is sodium and potassium simular?

Anytime is good: If you have a minor deficiency, then often it can be corrected with once a day supplements given at any time. If the deficiency is more severe, then it's better to take multiple smaller doses during the day, rather than one large dose. This is true even in the setting of treated adrenal deficiency complicated by diarrhea.
