Normal: It's normal to have a delay in return to normal, regular monthly menses after cessation of the depot Provera (medroxyprogesterone) shot. The Progesterone from the shot can have an effect on menstrual cycle and fertility for a few months following stopping, so this is normal. Jelly discharge is normal cervical mucous mixed with blood.
