A member asked:

I've skipped my period for the past 6 months by the birth control pill, however occasionally when i do running or ab workouts my period starts up again?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pretty normal: When a woman tries to skip periods with the pill, it's pretty common that she'll have some bleeding at times. As long as it's only a little, i would ignore it. If it ever seems like a real period or coming often enough to be a nuisance, then it's best to stop the pill for about 4 days, then re-start. Then you can probably skip periods again for some time without bleeding.
