Possibly: Stress can dysregulate hypothalamic hormones, resulting in changes in your menstrual cycle. Periods can be longer or shorter than normal, or may even cease entirely for a time. Food restriction can certainly play a part. Are you on birth control pills, or have you used Plan B recently? This can change your menstrual cycle also. If this continues, do consult your physician.
