Hydration: Is paramount, certain stones, depending on the contents, could be manage by changing ph or adding neutralizes. Best talk to urologist to identify stone content. If lodge and large, may need u/s treatment.

Usually not: I ureter blockages are usually not able to be treated with medications and require some sort of intervention.
