A member asked:

Who should go through a colon hydrotherapy session?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No one: Colonic hydrotherapy is based upon a theory of accumulation of toxins from colonic contents. The colon unless inflamed is more than adquate after years of evolution, to deal with the contents without causing problems. Colonic hydrotherapy is of no proven benefit and cases of water intoxication or colonic perforation have been reported.
