A member asked:

Can an ovarian cyst and fibriod be taken out during a c-section?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes and no: We can sometimes safely operate on the ovaries during c-section, however the enormous blood flow to the uterus makes removing fibroids quite risky. Most doctors will avoid it if at all possible.
