How can getting a pelvic exam cause a grand mal?

Coincidence: I know of no physiologic reason a pelvic exam should be associated with or cause a grand mal seizure. If this did occur, it was most likely a coincidence. I guess if anxiety can cause a seizure, perhaps anxiety regarding the exam could trigger one.
