Sounds normal: Your description of the course of events is a little confusing, but the description of mid-cycle spotting (common around ovulation) and pain associated with your ovaries (related to ovarian cysts) could all be normal. Recheck the pregnancy test within the next week, and if the pain does not resolve quickly, call your doctor.
