Go to the Emergency: If your symptoms persist beyond 30-60 minutes then you should go and see your physician. If the diarrhea has settled down it is probably not going to be a recurring problem. Yet if your symptoms persist beyond 30 minutes it is a good idea to get checked. You may need an x-ray or ultrasound of your abdomen to be sure there is nothing serious going on inside.
