Could it be possible a stone to not show up on ultrasound and xray but showed up on ct scan?

Yes: U/s may "see" a dilated ureter, but the echo bounces off the stone. Ct has replaced the intravenouspyelogram (ivp). Blood in urine, microscopic or gross is key.
