Can you tell me what you suggest if my period is late, can i start birth control on the sunday i should have?

Rule out pregnancy : If your period is late, need to rule out pregnancy. Try doing a home pregnancy test or seeing your doctor for a pregnancy test. If you are not pregnant, it should be safe to start the the pills either on the first day of bleeding (easier to remember and earlier protection) or the sunday following the start of your period.
