See below: Be very clear-use is not abuse. If you are 50- she must be close to 70 older. Poor function can have multiple causes. It may be the pills but it may not. If all her "pills" come from a doctor- share you concern ; try to accompany her to a visit. If she gets it from nonmedical sources, than get her into drug treatment.
