Do you smoke cigs?: Tobacco smoking is associated with hyperpigmentation in some people (smokers' melanosis). It is often on the lips and below the mouth, but it can be other places. It will go away in most people if they quit. I am not aware of any reports of this occurring with just marijuana or with drinking beer or any other alcoholic beverage. Iron overload(hemachromatosis)can do this but not just earlobe.See md.
