Can you tell me more about tumor removal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Adequate resection: Tumors both benign and malignant must be removed with adequate margins so that tumor cells are not left behind. In addition there shouldn't be damage to surrounding organs. The rule is that simple and radical surgery are not important. What is needed is adequate surgery to remove the tumor to prevent recurrence.
