A member asked:

I believe marijuana is helping my fertility, could it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ain't likely: Marijuana has many hormonal effects, but none of them are likely to be beneficial in most people. Why do you think this? Marijuana may increase libido and sexual enjoyment, but this is likely unrelated to hormonal effects. In some people it has the opposite effect. It raises estrogen levels in men, which reduces sperm count and fertility in them. In addition, if you get pregnant, stop the weed!
