You can see your gynecologist or a urologist and obtain a prescription for estrogen cream or the easiest solution is to use a water-soluble jelly such as k-y jelly. One of these two options will solve 95% of most women's problems.

Yes.: If the pain you are having is at the opening of the vagina, and feels like a burning or tearing sensation. That is often due to loss of estrogen, and loss of elasticity and moisture in the vagina that can cause burning or dryness. You can use lubricants; or estrogen creams or tablets that will help a lot, or hyaluronic acid creams if you are not able to use Estrogens or hormones. Talk to your dr.
