Depends: It depends on the infection. If it is herpes that got spread, it could. If it is a viral canker sore infection, it wouldn't. Normally, a localized mouth infection would not be expected to cause the related symptoms.

Not usually: But infections can do strange things. See your dentist to control the infection...No infection should go untreated.
