Hard to call: With your child having the vaccine and testing negative for varicella/chicken pox-the rash could be a contact rash or due to virus. Doubt insect related. Monitor the rash over time offering comfort care -cool water and moisturizer. If spreads or worsens, seek care to determine what might be progressing.
