Yes: Yes, it is normal to lose lots of hair after having a baby. This is a condition called telogen effluvium. Hormonal changes in the postpartum period & stress can cause this. It usually resolves without treatment within 6 months. Maintaining a healthy diet and taking a daily multivitamin can be helpful. The best thing to do is give it time. This is normal:)! congrats on the new baby.
