A member asked:

Is cough or flu at 11 weeks exposure a sign of hiv? has neg rna at 28 days and neg duo at 9.5 weeks. waiting for 12 weeks for last test. still waiting

Easy does it: During the several weeks between exposure and a pcr test for HIV being certain to turn positive, you're probably going to catch a mild viral illness. Acute HIV may be a mild or severe viral illness but is more like infectious mono than a cough. I see that you have been a safe player and that's good. Hoping (and betting) you're fine.
