Please explain why is oatmeal good for you if it has saturated fat in it?

Steel cut oats: Not all oatmeal is the same. The type of oatmeal that is beneficial is steel cut oats. It has negligible saturated fat, predominantly monounsaturated fat (as a percentage of total fat which is extremely low), relatively high fiber and low calories. Oatmeal: Steel cut oats are least processed and the healthiest choice. Although Oatmeal does have a lot of carbohydrates they are complex carbohydrates. Oatmeal contains soluble fiber and can help to control cholesterol & blood sugar levels. It also has antioxidants. There are about 3 grams of fat in half a cup of oatmeal. There could me more fat in certain quick oatmeal products with other added foods.
