Allergies/Asthma: Wheezing with cough usually means constriction of the upper airways which can be due to asthma. Seasonal allergies can cause irritation to the airways and voice box causing the cough. Lastly if this happens while sleeping you may have a component of acid reflex which maybe irritating airways due to gravity while lying down. You should be evaluated for all the above.
