Mom diagnosed with overflow incontinence, what can we do?

Overflow is rare: In women. She should be evaluated by a urogynecologist or urologist who specializes in women's incontinence.

Urodynamics: By experienced urologist or uro-gynecologist will likely diagnose cause of overflow incontinence, be it a structural or neurologic problem. Treatment will then be tailored appropriately and may include medication, surgery or intermittent catheterization.
