Well....: Long ago lifespan in juvenile rheumatoid (idiopathic) arthritis was abbreviated substantially, secondary to chronic inflammation, the use of routinely high doses of prednisone, lack of activity, and many other factors. Today most are put into remission and life expectancy should be normal for most so afflicted!
