A member asked:

Can someone tell me how to get white blood count up?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Wbc count: Low white blood cell counts are usually a result of a an acute or chronic viral infection, or other conditions of immunosuppression , where the bone marrow cannot keep up with the rate of destruction of white blood cell counts in the blood stream. Discuss this finding with your health care provider as low white blood cell counts indicate your body is less able to fight infections in general.
