Contraceptioin: Ovarian cysts are very common and occur in ovulating women. Most cysts are benign and asymptomatic. When a patient has pain from recurrent cysts, it is reasonable to discuss birth control which stops the ovary from ovulating. You should talk with your doctor about whether this would work in your situation.
