Vaginal d/c: If you have unprotected vaginal intercourse and semen is introduced into your vagina, than that can certainly be a "vaginal discharge" afterwards, but other than that and a vaginal discharge that includes the male ejaculate and possibly some of your naturally occurring vaginal liquids, there should be no other abnormal discharge.

Housecleaning: Yes, the deposits of semen and vaginal fluids will increase until mother nature "cleans house" of its' own accord.
