Dont understand ?: There is no particular need to take in extra water if you are reducing or stopping smoking. Actually, the best gauge of how much water we need is our sense of thirst. If you are healthy, you get the vast majority of water that you need from your food. Advice that we need 8 glasses of water a day (or whatever) are not based on science or biology. Keep reducing smoking and take in normal fluids.

Stop smoking: This is not true. You actually reduce your risk as soon as you stop smoking. Try to stop all together. Live a healthy life style and add years to your life.
