A member asked:

What are symptoms of iron deficiency?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Iron deficiency: Mild deficiency has no symptoms, but when iron levels become low enough to cause anemia, one develops a rapid heart rate, shortness of breath with exertion and fatigue. If this happens very slowly symptoms may not be noticeable until anemia is fairly severe.
