Is it okay to swim in a chlorinated pool the day that you get several second degree burns, some open and some not?

Chlorine: Kills some organisms but not all and includes some parasites. The problem with the pool is that it is in the open, it is used by other people so whatever they have can be there and if the organism is there and not killed, it can go through the open wounds. So i don't recommend it for now, even if it is true that chlorine is an antisepsis.

Swim with burns? : Best not to. Keep skin clean (brief warm soapy water once daily) and moist (light ointment or moisturizer) for 3-5 days. Cover with non stick bandage if need be. If not healed by then, or if any questions about the depth of the burn, see your physician. Use sunblock!
