A member asked:

How is that the dht clogs up in the scalp? what action causes increase in dht levels? how to balance the levels, by exercise? or by foods?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Confused: You seem confused. Dht does not "clog up". Hair follicles have a natural response to dht. In men this causes facial and other body hair production. Unfortunately it also causes scalp hair loss. This is a natural consequence of being male and having testosterone. You can't change it by what you eat or exercise. Meds like Minoxidil and finesteride can affect the Dht levels and slow hair loss.
