Not directly: Trichomoniasis is a sexually transmitted disease primarily of the sex organs, i.e. Vagina & penis. The trichomonas parasite can cause some irritation of the terminal urethra in men and can cause asome urthral discharge, and burning on urination which is not a uti. Women can also have some meatal irritation as well as vaginal discharge. Can affect bacterial defense mechanism increasing risk of uti.
