Environmental orgnsm: Burkholderia cepacia is a group of bacteria species that are common in the environment and usually do not cause disease. They are found on skin of normal people. B. Cepacia is more dangerous in those who have cystic fibrosis (causes lung infections) or who are elderly and infirm. For all infections on the labia, local treatment/warm compresses and drainage of infected areas are usually effective.
