Not sure...: For the time being, keep the penis clean, ventilating and dry without overjealous use of soap or detergent, and see. If any doubt, see and talk with someone knowledgeable and commonsensical timely. Best luck...

Uncommon in men: Candidiasis is a fungal infection that can affect the genitals. Genital infection is much more common in women than men, but when it does occur in males, candidiasis affects the head of the penis (the "glans penis", informally referred to as the helmet) and the foreskin, if present (the "prepuce"). A dermatologist would have to see you to give you a diagnosis and explain possible treatments.
