A member asked:

How to stop ovulation bleeding? bleed every month during ovulation for 3-5 days, no other issues like fibroid etc. it is due to hormone change.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not sure.: Midcycle ovulatory bleeding is usually very light, spotty even, and usually only lasts for a day. I would think that a sonogram would be very helpful to see if there was anything else (polyps in the uterus, fibroids, or a very thickened lining of the uterus). If not, then perhaps a couple of months of a birth control pill (which should suppress/prevent ovulation) could be tried, then see if bett.
